Current opportunities at Fernery

Fernery is nestled inside the enchanting Grove of Narberth, a 5 AA Red Star small luxury hotel in the Pembrokeshire countryside.

Overseen by Executive Chef Douglas Balish, the Fernery restaurant, was awarded 4 AA Rosettes in 2022, making Grove of Narberth one of just 12 UK hotels with restaurants to hold such a status.

Chef de Rang – Full Time caret-down

We want to find enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion providing exceptional hospitality and experiences to our guests.

Our 5 AA Red Star award winning Hotel has established itself as one of the leading luxury hotels and restaurants in Wales set in the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside overlooking the Preseli Hills. The fernery restaurant holds 4 AA Rosettes and is under the leadership of the hugely talented Executive Chef Douglas Balish, likewise the team also oversee the casual dining option ‘Artisan Rooms’ offering a more relaxed dining option to guests while still showing care and attention as to where ingredients are sourced.

The Food and Beverage Manager, Andreas, is now looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef de Rang to join the team.

What we offer:

  • Package up to £30,000 including Gratuities and Pension.
  • Gratuities are shared through a Tronc system and currently amounts to 3.5k per annum.
  • Employee long service holiday benefit.

Bar & Lounge Supervisor – Full Time caret-down

The fernery restaurant holds 4 AA Rosettes and is under the leadership of the hugely talented Executive Chef Douglas Balish, likewise the team also over see the casual dining option ‘Artisan Rooms’ offering a more relaxed dining option to guests while still showing care and attention as to where ingredients are sourced.

The Head Sommelier, Cathryn and F&B Manager Andreas, are now looking for a passionate and dedicated bar & lounge supervisor to join the team.

What we offer:

  • Package up to £31,500 including Gratuities and Pension.
  • Gratuities are shared through a Tronc system and currently amounts to appx 3.5k per annum.
