We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance & Garden Technician to join our team in a dual role, someone equally confident with garden and grounds duties as well as general property maintenance.

Role Summary

As our Maintenance & Garden Technician you will play a key role in ensuring Penmaenuchaf remains safe, welcoming and beautifully maintained both inside and out. Your responsibilities will include:

Garden and Grounds Care

• General landscape upkeep including lawn mowing, trimming, weeding, hedge cutting and seasonal gardening tasks
• Caring for beds, borders and outdoor features to maintain the venue’s high standards

Property Maintenance

• Carrying out general building and property maintenance work including minor repairs, painting, carpentry and preventative upkeep
• Supporting the venue team with ad hoc maintenance tasks as required

Operational Responsibilities – Safely operating and maintaining equipment, tools and machinery – Following maintenance schedules and reporting completed work – Helping maintain a tidy and safe environment for both guests and staff

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Experience in both garden and grounds maintenance and general property maintenance
• Competence with gardening machinery and hand or power tools
• Good problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and flexible approach
• Relevant qualifications, for example horticulture, NPTC or trade certificates
• Previous experience within hospitality, estate or grounds maintenance

Seren currently includes the 5 Red star and 4 AA rosette Grove of Narberth hotel, Michelin starred Beach House Restaurant in Oxwich and the Lany Mor restaurant in Saundersfoot.

We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Sommelier or Assistant restaurant Manager to join the team.

• Passion for world wine and spirits with at least WSET 3 and or CMS.
