Hidden in the rolling Narberth hills, surrounded by meadows, woodland and mature gardens, if you weren’t looking for the Grove you might just miss it. The warmest of Welsh welcomes awaits you here, the kind reserved for the oldest and best of friends, as you wander through the thoughtfully restored house and grounds, your new home from home deep in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Breathe in the magic, soak in the fresh air, and escape to thoughtful luxury.
“It’s a difficult stylistic trick, blending the old and new, but one accomplished with aplomb at this bucolic country estate in the shadow of Pembrokeshire’s Preseli Hills.”

Our management team
Executive Chef Douglas Balish, and General Manager Karen Weisheit are two of the key faces you’ll meet at Grove.
Karen’s journey with us began over seven years ago at our sister venue, Coast Restaurant in Saundersfoot. Her talent and passion quickly shone through, leading her to become the Reception & Reservations Manager at Grove of Narberth shortly thereafter. By 2018, she had earned the role of House Manager, and in 2022, she was promoted to Hotel Manager. Now, as General Manager, Karen continues to inspire us all with her leadership and vision.
Scotsman Dougie joined Grove in 2019 to lead the hotel’s food offering, after working at some of the top restaurants in the UK and Sydney. He now lives a rural lifestyle in Pembrokeshire with his growing family, and you’ll often see him out and about foraging our spectacular coastline, with the clan in tow!
