We were delighted to have our Director of Operations, Thomas Agius Ferrante MIH, participate in the recent Hospitality Industry Taster Day held at Pembrokeshire College, in partnership with The Chefs’ Forum.
The event saw over 200 students and food tech teachers from 8 local schools attend and take part in a range of culinary activities, including interactive pasta-making and pastry masterclasses.
Thomas was able to share his story with the students, highlighting real career progression opportunities within the hospitality industry. As someone who fell into hospitality after almost becoming a barrister, he knows first-hand how important events like these are for the next generation of hospitality workers.
At Seren, we love to support and nurture young talent within the industry, and partnering with initiatives like The Chefs’ Forum and Pembrokeshire College allows us to do just that. We are proud to be a part of a community that values education and encourages the development of skills and knowledge in the field of hospitality.
Congratulations to Pembrokeshire College and The Chefs’ Forum on another successful event, and we look forward to continuing to work together to support the future of the industry.
