Our management team
Executive Chef Douglas Balish, and Hotel Manager Karen Weisheit are two of the key faces you’ll meet at Grove.
Karen took over as Hotel Manager in 2022, having joined the Grove team in 2017 initially as reception and reservations manager, before a promotion to House Manager. Originally from Germany, Karen adores Pembrokeshire and has just bought her first house with her fiancé.
Scotsman Dougie joined Grove in 2019 to lead the hotel’s food offering, after working at some of the top restaurants in the UK and Sydney. He now lives a rural lifestyle in Pembrokeshire with his growing family, and you’ll often see him out and about foraging our spectacular coastline, with the clan in tow!
