We are incredibly proud to share that Charly Dix, Assistant Restaurant Manager at Lan y Môr, has been named Rising Star at the National Tourism Awards for Wales 2025.
The award recognises outstanding emerging talent within the Welsh tourism and hospitality industry, celebrating individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the guest experience. Charly’s achievement follows her earlier success at the Visit Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards, where she was also recognised as a Rising Star, before progressing to the national finals.
Since joining Lan y Môr, Charly has become an invaluable member of the team. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for hospitality have helped shape the welcoming experience our guests enjoy every day. Watching her grow in confidence and develop within the restaurant has been a pleasure, and we couldn’t be prouder to see her recognised on a national stage.

The National Tourism Awards for Wales celebrate excellence across the country’s tourism and hospitality industry, with just 48 finalists shortlisted across 12 categories. The awards recognise outstanding businesses and individuals who are helping to shape the future of Welsh tourism through exceptional service, innovation, and dedication.
