This week, our Chef de Partie at Coast, Steph, took part in the Junior Chef of Wales competition in Coleg Llandrillo. The finals were spread over two days, and Steph was challenged to create and deliver a 3-course menu for the judges over a three-hour service. We’re so excited to celebrate her winning the overall competition and earning the very well-deserved title of Junior Chef of Wales.
Steph wasn’t initially able to take part in the competition, but after a fortunate change to her prior commitments, she was able to join in. With only two weeks to prepare her menu, she was still able to blow the judges away with her creations.
